About Caleb



As a former collegiate wrestler, when I graduated from college I knew that I needed to find something that involved coaching AND a team atmosphere. That's exactly what I found back in 2017. After my first class I knew I was hooked. Part of what I loved was that all I had to do was show up. The coaches leadership and community members would help me do the rest. 


In 2018, I began coaching CrossFit so that I could understand why this workout regimen worked so well and because I wanted to share CrossFit with others. After doing CrossFit for only a few months I felt I was in better shape than I had been when I was wrestling competitively in college. To me this was mind blowing - how could something get you in such great shape in so little time? I had to learn more. Since then, I have been coaching non-stop, picking up numerous certifications and certificates to try and better myself so that I can pass that along to members. 


My favorite part of being a coach is helping members make little changes to accomplish their goals. This includes changes to movement, nutrition, mindset, etc. What I've found is that oftentimes members don't need to make huge changes, but small ones to get their desired training effect. That's where the coach's eye comes in.  It's seeing the small change make a difference that is my favorite.
